Can someone advise on nurse training?

I achieved a foundation degree in 2010 in media design, and went on to do my degree which I didn't complete, I have used 5 years of funding with student finance, I would really like a career change and get into mental health nursing/mental health support worker and wondered if anyone can advise on where I can do this and what support I can get, the only courses at my local college is health and social care. I wish I'd never studied media design as there is just no jobs in that area of work. Iv considered doing an online course in mental health but don't think I would qualify for degree courses because of funding difficulties. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
