High school sophomore classes?
Hi! I am going to be a sophomore in high school and I am freaking out about choosing my classes. We get 4 core classes (math, English, Social Studies, and Science), 3 elective classes, and one off period. This year, I took Honors English and AP Human Geography as my only two advanced classes. As far as core classes go I am thinking about these:
Honors Geometry
Honors Biology
AP US Government
Honors English 2
I am a little hesitant to take AP US Gov, but my geography teacher said that it is about the same amount of work that I do already. I am also hesitant about English, because I'm not sure if it will be too much work or if it's worth my time in the long run. For my electives I am thinking about:
Marketing 1
Spanish 3
Catering or Tech Theater
What do you think about my schedule? Will I be overwhelmed with work? What advanced classes do you think I should take? Also, if you took any of these classes, what did you think about them?

Thank you so much in advance!(:

Your core classes look great, as far as AP world if you have always been great at social studies go for it but if not i think you should definitely stray away, that course was tough for some of my smartest friends. Theatre tech is a really fun class according to a lot of my friends, they say they were never stressed or were bored in that class. Marketing will probably be terribly boring unless you have a great teacher, my friends both dropped that class. Sorry that I kept using testimonials from my friends, hope this helps!!

AP Gov is easy enough, so don't worry about it. The rest of your courses look good- but I would try to take an art instead of catering (tech theater, as long as it counts as drama, is fine). It will look better on your transcript.

Good job putting the spanish in there. Continue with it through all four years of HS.
