how to download ios6 on my ipad 2?

ok so i want to download twitter onto my ipad two but the new twitter update wont let me download it unless my ipad is updated to ios6. When i try and updae it it says that my memory is only 1 GB and i need 3.5 GB to update to ios6. I know you have to delete a lot of apps and pictures to do this and i have done exactly that. I have deleted ever app apart from one and only have 900 photos in my gallery but my GB memory is still stuck at 1.0. What can i do to make it 3.5 to install ios6.

move photos to icloud and every important data to icloud. Then reformat/reset your ipad. Then update to ios 7.
