I want to talk to this girl as we seem to have loads in common?

Hi i'm 17 and female.
There's this girl I used to go to secondary school with who i still have on facebook etc, but we never really spoke in school as we were in different friendship groups. Recently she's been liking all my status's and commented telling me that her status's always make her laugh, she also did that thing where she liked my profile picture and other pictures from weeks ago, that she obviously had to go looking for? I don't mind, I think she's pretty cool, but I feel like an idiot inboxing her and trying to talk to her as it might seem a bit creepy?:L any advice or ideas?
