Best way to find a band member?

I am in a band, the band currently consist of 2 guitarist and a drummer.
We're looking for a bass player.

What is the best way to find a bass player, or other band member for that matter?

Would you recommend Craigslist? Would in person be better?

Craigslist. Advertise on Facebooks, tell your friends to ask around, put up fliers and posters, etc.

Also, Craigslist is another great way to find people.
Definitely post it up on other media like Facebook, youtube, twitter, etc.
