cellphone marketing - sending sms to your phone upon your geo location ... it has been expected for few years by now, but it is yet to come popular.

Focusing on honesty towards the consumer... consumers want proof, they want something that works, and a company that conveys the product's attributes with honesty...
Also, focusing on more socially responsible/conscientiuos marketing.. with everyone wanting to "go green", this is imperative.. it proves your company is working towards the common good and consumers will feel more comfortable and good about buying your products. |

As you may have realized, traditional targeting or local marketing has changed rapidly. Don't take my word for it, Try this:
Type: BMW on Google Local, Yahoo Local You will see a store listings, choose one of the Store Listing, you see a business page, with 4 ads on the page and links to other dealers. Type BMW on http://www.thelocalindex.com You will see BMW’s, click one, and click go to store. You will see their Whole Inventory Online. The Site is targeted to local shoppers, so it's pretty effective. They are in beta, and are currently adding Google Maps for directions to each store, Coupons for discounts to customers, a URL to direct customers to your store (example†http://www.thelocalindex.com/ Your Store Name) and alot more including You tube videos, Slide: Slide shows, the ability to share on Myspace, Facebook, Flickr. Local Business events, networking events and a whole lot more. The Local Index, is the best resource for local businesses because they promote top local businesses via Radio, Television and Printed Media. The Goal of this site is to reintroduce the concept of local businesses to consumers as the hip, hot new thing. Instead of Pizza Hut, Walmart, Circuit City and Etc.
