i'm not getting facebook notifications?

i was on facebook & my friend wrote on my wall, but i didn't get a notification. also, a friend commented on my wallpost, and my other friend posted something from "friends exposed" on my wall but i did not get any notifications for these things. it just happened today, and all the application boxes have been checked--i checked my notifications from yesterday, and everything was working fine. idk what to do but it's bothering me and i don't want to miss any notifications. thanks!!

hmm.........You should keep one thing in mind: Facebook doesn't send you every notification. For example, if you comment in a post and after you 5,000 people post then you won't get 5,000 notification. You'll get only a few notification.

But when someone write on your wall you should get a notification. I don't know facebook sent the notification or not........I'll say go to this link: http://www.facebook.com/notifications.php and check all notifications. The best way to check any new notification is to check all notifications.

I'm not either, and it's mainly pokes..I have rechecked notifications and they are checked but I am not recieving email or SMS notifications for pokes???
