Major problem with iTouch apps won't refresh?

Since I woke up this morning my social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) will not refresh their feeds. I am fully connected to wifi and have never ever come across this problem before. I have turned the device on and off, restarted those said apps and still nothing. I can access them fine they just refuse to refresh, anyone have any solution to this frustrating problem? Also all apps are up to date.

I've never heard of this problem before so I can't give you a surefire way to cure the problem, but I have some ideas.

1) Make sure your internet is working. Sometimes it will be displayed as connected but the internet may be really slow and that could be what's causing the Facebook feed to not refresh.

2) Have you tried browsing on websites? If you can't navigate to websites like yahoo on your iPod, but the internet works fine on your computer, then you may have to get the iPod touch replaced or repaired due to a faulty driver.

3) Try updating the iPod using iTunes (connect it to iTunes, and update it).

4) Last case scenario, restore your iPod touch. If you do resort to this, make SURE to create a BACKUP in iTunes so that you will retain the apps. This is almost guaranteed to fix the problem!

If none of the above works, either your internet is faulty, or your iPod is faulty.
