Can I still use FB Purity with Google Chrome?

I've been using FB Purity to keep most of the junk off my Facebook timeline, and it's been working great. I had to re-install my Google Chrome browser this evening, and now I'm getting a message saying the add-on is no longer allowed. Is there a way to restore it to Chrome? If not, is there another add-on that will do the same thing?

no, extensions like that have been banned by facebook

you can still use things like adblock plus tho - and create your own custom settings for it - it pretty much does the same thing

Fb purity actually still works fine on chrome.
Its just the installation process that has changed, you simply need to follow the installation instructions on the install page carefully, to install it. In particular read the red text on the install page.
