I received a phone from eBay and Facebook , twitter and eBay are not working :/ ?
Hi there, I bought a samsung phone from eBay and received on Saturday just passed. It was from someone who claims to be a private seller but acts like they are a business.
Firstly , the listing didn't say that it didn't come with the USB cable or the manuals but these aren't in the box.
Also , the Facebook , twitter and eBay apps (not tried any others yet cos I've just got the AppStore working cos there was no USB cable cos it's windows phone 7 so you need to connect to a computer first) aren't working when I have a perfectly good 3G signal.
So really what I'm asking is what rights do I have and how should I go about getting my money back?

Thanks for any help Big Grin
Hi it did say no returns but only in the postage bit.
And no there was no list of what came with it :/
Also I tried the Bluetooth last night and after trying quite a few times it wouldn't work :/ I think it must be faulty but will they have to take it back?

Hi Jack on the advert for the samsung phone did it say no returns on the page anywhere ? if it did then unfortunately theres not a lot you can do as it states that if you buy the phone then you cant return it ! at the top of the page it usually states what you get when you buy the phone ! now if theres a genuine reason like you have that facebook ebay apps why not message the seller & ask if they know why or if theres anything in the settings that you have to change i.e was the phone on contract & your on payg then normally the settings are different for the internet & mms ! but going back to the phone if it doesnt state no returns on the page then normally most sellers will refund you within 7 days the only other thing you can do is report the seller to ebay ... hope this helps .. sly

if the phone is not as described according to the ebay advert, you can start a dispute, i have had to do that a few times, i just bought an ipod nano on ebay, it was a fake and not as described, i contacted the owner and returned it as " not as described "and had my money refunded.
