Will the do not disturb function on iPhone 4, iOS 7 silence any incoming calls, texts or Instagram Alerts?
It's on a timer from 8:40am till 3:00pm for work. Will it also block out kik messages? Or any other app notifications. Because I don't want to forget to put my iPhone on silent.

Do not disturb means do not disturb.

But I think there is a settings where you can adjust to have certain people call you if it's important
