Did Facebook really show my birthday to all my Friends?

I never wanted all my contacts on Facebook to know my age. That's why I hid my birthday when I initially created my Facebook account. I just logged on after a 2 week hiatus. It looks like Facebook has reset my privacy settings so all my contacts can now see my birthday! Is this true? I am hoping the new settings took place once I viewed the transition page and selected Save, not behind my back when I wasn't logged on. Did Facebook REALLY expose this information without my consent?

no, its just that a couple of weeks back facebook changed privacy settings to accommodate anybodys needs. this means they mad it more... private!
it does show ur birthday on alittle side of facebook, but since u may not have updated ur privacy with the new settings it may have shown it 2 all ur friends, thats all.
ps u can always update ur status and say ur 3 years younger lol
