What is this knot on my neck?

About a month ago, this knot thing showed up near my hairline (left side). It wasnt visable, if it was you couldn't really tell.

About 2 weeks ago it started to go down.

Well 5 days ago I felt that area again, and it came back. At first I could only feel it when I was laying down. But now I can feel it while standing up, sitting, and laying down.

I also pressed on it really hard, and it didn't hurt.

It doesnt hurt, I guess it feels soft, I can press on it and stuff.
Also I have had bad acne breakouts on my chest, back, neck, and face. I am 15, female, and I weigh about 145-150 pounds.

Anyone know what could cause it to come back? I haven't been feeling sick, I have been eating a normal diet, I haven't lost appetite, and I haven't lost weight.

I just don't want to get paranoid (which happens a lot when it comes to my health)

My mom said she had one too, but it was on her right side. Then she told me that she went to the doc about it 16 years ago, ad he told her that it was nothing she should worry about.

So what do you think this could be?
