From Canada to Australia postage help?

So around the 27th last year a package of mine was posted from Canada to Australia, its a large package and I've been waiting for roughly around two weeks, however I'm not sure if the package may take longer then it should due to all the christmas and new year's holidays and packages.
This week would be about the third week so if it does take two weeks then I guess I will be expecting it soon then?

Didn't you get a tracking number? Ask the sender for it. Then you might be able to see how it is progressing. Expect it soon.

For large packages it may take longer as transport options are different from standard letters or small packages. Give it 4 weeks, and then check if there is any way you can track its progress.
