A company is publicly bashing me?
A rival company has recently posted an article on their Facebook and website directly referring to me, my background and insinuating that I am the author of a post I made for the company I work for. I am my employer's Communications and Marketing manager and all posts I do are in the company's opinions and not mine, however, the rival company has addressed me personally and referred to my background and even address me by a name that is my nickname, not readily available in my professional circle. Can I make them take it down? What are my options, legally?

Can you prove that the post is directly affecting your company's business and has led to a drop in revenues? Have they posted anything that you can prove to be untrue about you?
Speak to your company's lawyer to see if you have a case for libel and/or defamation |
