How do I create a private facebook page?

I want to create a facebook page for my beauty business but don't want any tom, dick and harry liking it so how do I create a page that people can 'like' and I have to authorise their request. Also how do u keep the content private until I have accepted their request. Hope someone can help thank you.

You cannot create a private Facebook page. The whole point in Facebook pages is to be public. You can create a Facebook group which is near the same as a page but people join the group instead of liking it. You can make it so you have to accept people and also change it so they can't see anything until accepted. That is all done during the setup of the Facebook group.

facebook pages dont have privacy settings, because it is assumed that the whole purpose of creating said page is to draw attention to as many people as possible
