Facebook mobile won't work on my iPod touch?

Everytime I try to click on anything or even if I keep it open for longer than 30secs it automatically closes the safari. I can't download the facebook app cause I have the 1st gen. iPod touch. It just started doing this about 2 weeks ago, and Its really aggrivating. Anyone know how to fix it?

I would say you should restore your ipod. That's what I did when that happened to me and it went right back to normal.

I know this isn't the answer you probably wanted to hear but your Facebook app is most likely crashing because it isn't the most updated version. When Facebook redesigns its apps things get changed in the server and which is not compatible with the older app. I would contact facebook support with your problem to further assist you with this issue.

Hit home button twice and a little window should pop up.hold safari down and hit the minus sign to refresh it
