Well, online social skills, anyway... it encourages people to talk to each other (online) more often, gives easy ways to do so, and even helps you talk to people you might not have seen since Kindergarten! Maybe real-life social-skill-wise, it helps people suggest staying in touch by providing an easy way to do so.

It allows you to see the interests and mannerisms of those whom you see regularly. The interests can be topics when communicating and mannerisms can be emulated to fit in with more easily.

Well it sounds intelligent anyway right?

Because I move all over the place I lost grip of my social skills pretty quickly.

I found facebook, reconnected with my friends(from elementary). Had a few awkward conversations with them, I couldn't find anything to talk about.

After 2 weeks I was able to maintain a stable conversation again and I was able to make a lot more friends in real life. It also helped me out of my depression of "Dying alone" because I was to shy to practice conversations with people at school, so I thought I would never be able to make friends again.

I literally forgot how to make friends, but facebook helped me Big Grin

I don't mind if you quote what I say, although I'm pretty sure no one would mind haha.
