Who know where's the internet income come from?
I always wondering and curious when I saw that popular web page like facebook or google generated so much income in their company till they able to reach billionaire level in such a young age. What's the root of the money? What does the name of that 'root' company. Where's the money coming from other than advertisement? And I am very, very interested to know the 'income chain'. I just curious. Can anyone brief me.

It's advertising. Companies like google and facebook are what is known as targeted advertising companies. That is to say, they collect as much information about you as possible, and match advertisers to you, so you're more likely to visit the advertisers website and make a purchase. That's the source of their income.

For Facebook, it's advertising, Facebook's cut of the money people spend to buy Facebook credits to buy virtual items in Facebook games, and they sell some of the data they mine (such as trend analysis).

Some of the most popular online business ideas include an EBay shop. Another is trading on the stock market, while some people look to opportunities in Internet Marketing. Each of these can certainly offer ways to make money.
