Unhiding things you have hidden on Facebook Timeline?

I am setting up a timeline profile on Facebook and have hidden posts; there was an "undo" option immediately after I had done it but now that I have logged out and back in it seems that even when I display "all stories" as opposed to just "highlights" what I have hidden is now gone. Will these posts be gone forever (much to my devastation) or is there a way I can show them again?
Serious answers appreciated, trolls and idiots are unwelcome (but expected in the times of today). Thank you!

Up at the top of your timeline, to the right of your name, is a button called "Activity Log". When I click on that, I get a drop down of everything with the option to hide it, delete it forever, or in the case of those things I have previously hidden, the optino to unhide them. Good luck!
