Help on what to put in my uint one sketch book on 'identity'?

I need to have some artist researches
self portraits
different media of art.
i need some help on what artist i could use and what things i could put in it and i don't know of any artist what doing any work to do with identity so if you could help me and give me some ideas on what artists i could use and what different medias i could do would be really great and also what things i could draw to do with identity would be a great help thankyou

Why not have a look at some selfies - they're very easy to find! Follow some celebs on Twitter and just see how their selfies change and what's happening in their lives, and what they're trying to tell their followers.

Then you'd be able to compare them to actual artists who have done self-portraits - Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Picasso. Kahlo is particularly fascinating because she made herself look ugly, and at the time I think she was very ill so probably felt pretty ugly too. Try and do some background research to find out how these people were feeling, and how they want to portray themselves.
