How to: Free album with e-mail sign up facebook app?

Hi all,

I would like to create an e-mail sign up form similar to the one found on Ed Sheeran's facebook page, when fans sign up they recieve an e-mail containing a link to download an EP free.

Are there any services out there that can replicate this easily? I've tried using mailchimp but I don't like how when fans sign up they have to confirm their e-mail then recieve a second e-mail containing the link it seems like a bit of a faf to the user. If there's not a service already available how would I go about creating this?

To add a sign-up form to your page, you need to use the FBML app. Although FBML supports the use of forms, it does not have built-in form functions. You can create a form using the mailto action for submission, but it will open the form contents in the submitter's email program for him to send. If you have your own Web space, using an externally hosted PHP mailer is more streamlined and sends data directly from the browser. HTML Form Guide offers a simple PHP script that can be modified to work with Facebook.
