How do i get more likes on my business page on facebook?

Hi,
I have made a Facebook page of my jewellery business that i started recently and i was wondering how do i get more likes on it. I have invited my friends and is sharing my URL of page, i wanna know what more can i do?

so far i m sharing my page updates on various jewellery groups, but i would like to have some more suggestions of the places where i can share my page without looking like some "like" hungry kid and would get 'real' people likes and not get likes just for the sake of the "no. of likes" on my page.

I don't have a lot of Facebook friends since i have added only those people who i personally know and stay in touch with, so expecting it to grow through just my friend's like and share does not seem like very fruitful to me.
Also, i have only just started by business so i m low on money and can't afford the advertisement packages of fb.

I would really appreciate any tips that you could provide me with.

It's a sad truth but if you want "likes" you have to ask for them. You may not only use Facebook for it but also other networks, e.g. Twitter and Google+. I often see Tweets where people ask to like their pages on Facebook and if I know those people at least a little I respond to them. If you don't want to be a beggar you can offer something to those people who like your page and share your page with their friends, e.g. a free gifts of additional discounts for your jewelries.
