Should I take it further with this girl?

Well I met this girl over social media. We talk a lot together and message each other a lot and we even set up date.

The only problem is that when she saw my picture she was like I am not the type of guy she would go for looks wise but she likes my personality.

Even since then we still talk and message each other. The only problem is that I am not entirely sure what to do? She has told me indirectly that I am not attractive and I am not sure if my strong personality is strong enough for her to like me.

Has anyone else been in this position and what have they done?

Just be comfortable with who you are.
Looks are important at first for sexual chemistry, but if you get along well that's all that matters in the long run.
Maybe she'll look different than in her pictures and you won't feel the same either?
All you can do is relax and realise you continue talking because you like each other.
You are who you are, don't ever feel nervous about that.
