Twitter And Direct Messaging?

On my direct messages it says that I sent all these people this thing at like 3 in the morning. But I didn't and when I try and open the link it redirects me and says that I have been logged out of twitter and that I need to sign back in and such. Did this happen to anyone else? Is it a virus? I'm just double checking to make sure it's not like porn or something bad? How do I stop it from happening again?

Same thing happened to me before. But in my case, I was the recipient. I didn't dare click on it in fear of porn.

Yeah...it was definitely a virus. You probably clicked a link and that virus hacked your account and sent it to people. Next time don't click on suspicious links unless you trust the website.
