Facebook Timeline, can you get rid of it?

I just updated my profile to the timeline and I absolutely hate it. Does anyone know if you can get your profile to go back to the original view? If not, this timeline idea totally sucks! lol

there is no way to get rid of it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook

No...unfortunately you can't change it I don't think. I have mine the regular way.

Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement about the deployment of the upgrade in any of its official pages, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size are never optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.
