Girls: What should I do?

Me and my dad went to visit my sister at uni a week or so ago, while I was there I met her housemates, one of which I got really close to throughout the night we were together, we did get a little flirty and she was a really nice girl, but nothing really happened.

Anyway, I added her on Facebook not long ago after finding out her last name, only problem is I must have "too many" Facebook friends or something for her to appear in the chat box, or maybe I just need to talk to her first? So there is no way I can know she's online unless I sit and wait on her profile like a creeper.

So I was wondering, what would you girls prefer? If a guy sat and waited for you to come online to talk, or message you when you're not online and then begin talking after you reply?

I'm currently all for the second option, but for some reason, I'd prefer the more direct approach, I want to know she's online before I message her.

My advice just send her a message it's adorable you want to wait for her to get online but when she sees you sent it I'm sure she will get butterflies or something I personally would want a guy to take immediate action .. hope I was helpful good luck :3
