I need to know or get help with accessing my beloved friends fb account ?

My friend of 10 years recently passed away.His family have had a very difficult time as they don't know any of his passwords to his gmail accounts or his Facebook and his mother is ill.she and i are very close and it would mean a lot to her to see her sons accounts as it would give her some answers to some important qa.
If anyone can give me any advice or help on how I can access my friends account on fb and or gmail I would be so grateful ad I promised his family I would try but tbh I don't know where to start.he was very intelligent&into computers I am out of my league.pls if u can help pls get in touch it would mean so much.

For Facebook you can "memoralise a deceased person's profile" See this help link
