then click account settings
and then scroll all the way down to where it says deactivate account and click deactivate

If you would like to deactivate your FaceBook account, you can do so by logging into your FaceBook profile and then clicking on Account and then Settings.

From there, you should click on the "Settings" tab and then scroll down until you see a link that says "Deactivate Account".
