I am doing a mock small business plan for school. Can someone help me estimate advertisement cost?

My business is an online clothing store. I want to have advertisements on Facebook and Google Adwords. I know everything is based on the number of clicks, but how much can I expect to spend monthly? Or better yet in order to be effective advertising how much should I spend?

I think you need to look at this differently. Figure out what you are prepared to spend and work within that framework.

If you are only prepared to spend $100 or $1,000 per month, than that is the most you will spend in a month (also, take into account the 20% peak - http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin...r=158524).

How many clicks you will receive for your daily budget is anyones guess.
