Is there another more advanced way to change settings on FB notifications?

I have been getting notifications on my facebook when I get wall posts for forever, and never had a problem there... but for a while now, I haven't been getting notifications when people comment on my status updates, or after me on other people's status updates. I get the e-mails, but not the on-site notifications. Any idea how to fix this?

I've tried e-mailing support once before and got no response, so I figured I'd try here before attempting to get them to help again. Thanks!

Log in to your facebook account

Click Settings at the top right side of the facebook page.

Click the notifications tab or click the following link (when logged in)
http://www.facebook.com/editaccount.php?notifications

Change your notifications settings

1. Click on your Notifications
2. then click See All
3. and on the side you can see the marked boxes
4. uncheck the ones you don't want notifications from
