how do i reset a yahoo password when i no longer have acess to the other email address listed on my account?

The first thing you should try is to enter the email address you can't remember the password for and then click on I CAN'T ACCESS MY ACCOUNT that is located on your sign in screen
One of your options is " I have a problem with my password". Place a dot in the circle to the left of it .. click on NEXT and follow the prompts...
NOTE: If you are not successful you will eventually receive a code
number that you can use when calling 800-318-0612. it puts you
in a different category and you should be able to make contact
sooner than a regular call.. With their backlog you may not
get through anyway.

In the first box click on YAHOO ACCOUNT
Select the following from the drop-down menu in the next box.." PASSWORD and SIGN IN"
In the SUB CATEGORY....click on FORGOT MY SECURITY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
(This may not be available now and if it is not click on MY ISSUE DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE LIST.)
Fill in a BRIEF DESCRIPTION. Once you enter that you will be given a possible help link and a link to contact customer care....
This can be used for other problems noted in the drop down menu that has the PASSWORD and SIGN IN choice.
