How about #PrayForActualSexualEducationInSchools? To Hard, how about not Pray at all and do actual research perhaps; =_="
@Laura: Most Schools don't even teach Actual Sexual Education, leaving it up to Religious Fanatics and Parents to teach kids. You know, Schools still teach the rubbish that "Abstinence is the answer". Ignoring something exists and happens, doesn't make it go away. Look into Pregnancy/Abortion rates to Schools with Actual Sexual Education and Easy Accessibility to Birth Control compared to "Abstinence is the answer, Sex is the Devil" Schools with barely no Sexual Education whatsoever.

It has been proven, Actual Sexual Education by Trained Official lowers Pregnancy/Abortion Rates rather then leaving it up to Parents or Religious Teaching who probably didn't have Sexual Education Classes themselves; besides "Leave it up to parents" has proven to be rather pointless since as we've seen Parents aren't exactly teaching their children squat.

No because there are strange things trending on Twitter all the time. As for sexual education, I think schools are doing just fine the way they are. Teaching children earlier and earlier isn't as good a thing as some people like to think. Hope this helps

Edit: I would like to see where the evidence is to say it's been "proven" or maybe it's the HIV in the gay transsexual community where people seem to think it's higher. Actual sexual education needs to be taught but at an appropriate age! The pregnancy/abortion rate is actually higher when kinds get taught about it because if they don't know how are they supposed to act. As for contraception, the majority of the teens from here in Manchester know about contraception but don't use it. So teaching children actual sexual education isn't necessary at such a young age.

The first thing makes me lose faith in humanity, the second I think would actually be good

Twitter has never been a beacon of hope for humanity. It's the place where celebrities and people with unwarranted self-importance post banal details about their boring lives.

And for folks who deny the connection between sex education and decreased pregnancy/abortion/STD rates:

"Contraception in The Netherlands: the low abortion rate explained": https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7971545

"Sex ed, the latest battlefield in abortion conflict": http://www.dallasnews.com/news/education...nflict.ece

"Sex Education That Works": http://www.avert.org/sex-education-works.htm

It's true that sex ed is not very effective in conservative areas of the United States, but this is because of the poor methods used to teach it: http://www.livescience.com/17065-sex-edu...tests.html

Pray to end abortion? It's hard to find such blind optimism in this world anymore.

People on both sides of the debate need to realize: ABORTION IS NEVER GOING AWAY. Criminalize it, and all you'll be doing is transferring the responsibility of terminating a pregnancy from qualified, trained doctors to back-alley surgeons on the take from the Mob, which results in nothing more than more deaths to poor medical hygiene and unsafe surgical practices.

I hate abortion as much as the next guy, but I'll be the first to admit that the only way we're going to decrease the abortion rates is by decreasing the amount of unexpected pregnancies. And that means giving everyone free and complete access to any and all birth control methods, as well as funding research into revolutionary new BC methods (VasalGel and the male pill, for example).

Oh, yeah, and, like you said, DECENT SEX EDUCATION. None of this STD-scare-filled "please don't have sex" garbage that is ever-present in the conservative American south. I'm talking about REAL sex ed.
