FB timeline question?

if i post something on someone else's wall, will that show up on my timeline?

I'm pretty sure it would only say that you posted on that persons wall or nothing at all. try posting on your mom or dads and see.

Yes it does show on your timeline, try viewing it as if from someone else's account by clicking 'view as' after posting.
There is a section on your timeline where it says 'Recent Activity', it might just show up there but not necessarily. However if someone views all of your recent activity he'll see it. Also, it is visible that you posted but not essentially what you posted on the normal profile and the mobile facebook site as well.

It might show up on your mutual friend's news feed as well, not on your wall. But If you post with a mention to that friend ( @'friendsfacebookID') on your own wall, it will show on both your friend's and your wall.
