i met this girl on a support place for people who want to talk to someone e.g. depressed, lonely

anyway shes a year younger then me and i gave her my twitter name and we follow each other, i'm just wondering if that's safe. Her twitter looks genuine. oh shes 15 i'm 16

Well, it is just a twitter name, so it is nothing that serious. You can always block people, so if it you did not want to have her follow you anymore you could do that. But there is nothing wrong with that just dont give any personal information to people on the internet because they could be lying about who they are.

That 15 year old girl could be a 50 year old male perv. Be careful. There is no way you can tell a fake from a real account just by looking.
