cannot add friends on Facebook anymore?

Hi I've been adding friends on Facebook and the past few days Facebook to seems to have changed. I am trying to send friend requests to two of my friends. I know I am not blocked. I can see their name and picture but it does not say "add friend " anywhere. Has anyone else had this issue. How can I still add friends on Facebook. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

i am a old facebook user & i also face this type of problems but for down connection some time it unable to send your request to your friends so don't worry it will resume automatically...
