need ppl to check out my blog!!?

Ok i have just started a blog and would like ppl to check it out, how do i get ppl to check it out. its about my life after failing my a levels and moving on and being optimistic about the future! dnt really want it to be like facebook friends to read if u know what i mean dnt mind if they do but i dnt really wanna post a link on facebook or twitter so any ideas??
