Will The Facebook Timeline Become Required?

I can't figure this thing out for shit. It's like WAY overly complicated and everything is scattered around and it's like a giant blob of unorganized mess.

Data should be sorted into groups. You should have posts, images, etc like how Facebook is already. Whoever thought it would be intelligent to sort data chronologically isn't an imbecile.

But my point is, will this be required? Because Facebook is saying "setup your timeline or wait till May 3rd". So does that mean it's going to force-give me one? And that I can't change it back?


Some people may be messy enough to actually like the timeline, but I can't stand it. I wouldn't mind if it was an option, but if it comes required, I won't quit Facebook because I don't feel like learning it, I will quit Facebook because I CAN'T learn it. The timeline makes no fucking sense and I can't figure it out at all.

I heard that everyone will be switched over to the timeline on June 1st. its the business pages, celebrity pages that already been switched over to timeline.
timeline is not all that bad. it takes time getting used to it.

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent

you can trick your browser into making it so you see your old profile, but everyone else will still be seeing your timeline profile, along with anything you dont want them seeing, and you wont be able to see anyone else's timeline profile then either
