Fake facebook profile - any tips. Also, should I try and add someone now? [read for more info]?

I am in the process of making a fake facebook profile so that I can add someone to view their profile (it's a long story, we used to be friends we were in a fight and now we're not speaking) to see if they've been bitching about me. I have all the correct information (name, home town, school etc) so it looks authentic but havent joined many pages added as much info etc as it is supposed to be their "new account". I am adding people from their friends list so that when I request my ex-friend we will have "mutual friends".
Should I add them them now? I don't have a lot of friends yet (because they havent accepted) and since the account is supposed to be new that will look real right?

I just want to quickly look at their wall and see if they have been talking about me then I'm going to delete the fake account.

That's a good idea to make a fake person but I'm making a fake profile of one of our friends because she won't add someone who she doesn't know.

Will I get in trouble for this? Or if I delete it right away no one can find out it was me though can they?

Try to be someone new. Like have a different personality than your own but make it likeable. Also if this person knows a lot about you it's best to like different things. But for example:

If:
you like pizza popcorn and pie
you dislike dogs cats and fish

and then your fake person:
she/he likes dog cats and fish
she/he dislikes pizza popcorn and pie

don't make it complete opposite if you talk to her she might catch on

other than that your on the right path

also she might not post bitchy things publicly so talk to her or one of her friends in private

yes, add other ppl first and then build up stories or wall comments so it doesnt look too new. if u want i can make a fake one too and then we add eachother and comment on eachothers profile n stuff-- warning: if ur a guy, i already have a bf and this will only be a fake profile-------------------------------------------
if u request friendships from all or many of her friends, chances are one of them will accept you. then she will see that u guys have mutual friends and she might trust you then and add you. or at least you will be able to spy on comments made about you--- i wouldnt create a fake profile of someone real that i know cuz they might be able to report it to facebook and it might be illegal. someone will hate ur guts for it plus if you did something illegal with it, the FBI can track ur proxy servers and networks and find ur computer

i think you should make a fake one because you can go on there profile and look at posts and see what there tlking bout or u can ask them do u know and like this person and then u can lie and say yeah i hate her
