Facebook mail notification and my facebook are showing 2 different times a message was sent?

My boyfriends Hotmail gets sent an email notification from Facebook every time there is a message sent and he had sent me a message on Facebook using his phone. On his Hotmail notification it says the message was sent at 10:39pm but then on my Facebook it was sent at 12:39am.

Could something be wrong with his phone? Cause I haven't heard from him in a while.
Usually it say the right time for things sent.
It also say's on my hotmail it was sent at 12:39am so how could that be a glitch on both sites?

thats a FB glitch, happens every now & then when traffic on site is heavy
