you need to download the facebook messenger app. this is how you get the little icon there, the normal facebook app can turn it on.

All you Need to Do is Get the Mobile App On your Phone Than Log Into Facebook on your Phone and the Phone Icon Will Appear Note If your Online And Using Chat It Will have a Green Dot
