If taxes are so beneficial to society, why not become 100% fascist?

Nazi Germany had social programs too. The state protected its citizens from evil capitalism. There was a strong police and military. All good stuff, right?

Because the hard right lost all their money doesn't mean they are popular...

Fascist national socialism typically has left some profit so long as the industries fully cooperated with the fascist "corporatist" bureaucracies. The ones who didn't usually were "nationalized."

Communism takes everything. That is 100% taxation. Fascism historically hasn't done that although as noted it could when it wants.

Taxes are only as good as what they're spent on. There's nothing a good for a country overall than education, so funneling increased tax revenue into that, infrastructure updating, and economic stimulus packages to be released regularly to the countries biggest industries.
Usually people who hate taxes are Americans who can't see the benefit immediately, but with trillions of dollars in debt maybe their system isn't working anymore.

Yes, a strong police force and military are good things.

If a police force is doing terrible things, the "size" of it isn't going to make too much of a difference.

You are right - there can be no middle ground...

It's either unfettered capitalism - or fascism.

I think you need to read a little more. Your grasp of fascism seems to be tenuous at best and your attempt to label a president you don't like to a dictator is rather tedious.

All things in moderation. Conservatives have been indoctrinated to believe in "all or nothing" deals. We either must be fully unregulated "free market" capitalism or we must be fully Marxist communism. The best solution is in middle, one that embraces the merits of capitalism and socialism while covering for each other's flaws.

Nazi Germany also had people who breathed air. I guess we should stop the breathing of air as soon as possible, too, since that's what Nazis used to do.
