The point is to talk to people every where.Like facebook,myspace,ect... So,it is really something to talk to people on and find out news and also it is kind of a joke thing.

To write what you are doing.Or sometimes to chat with people online.Or share pictures,people follow you and you can follow people.Demi Lovato,Miley Cyrus,Taylor Swift,Jonas Brothers and other famous people have accounts.Once you get some people to chat with Twitter will be really fun.It'll be more like a place to talk to people then writin what you do.When I got a Twitter,I barely used it,until I became friends with people.

Well, I actually kind of disagree. I find Twitter much safer and more valuable/reliable than MySpace and Facebook. Here are "my" reasons. And I find Twitter much easier to use than MySpace. Plus, people like Chad "Ochocinco" and Serena Williams are using it. The sports world is getting in the "tweeting" mode.

1. Updating their friends (followers) about what they’re doing
2. Engaging in conversations
3. Marketing and self-promotion
4. Coming up with ideas
5. Feeling the pulse of the Internet
6. Organizing Tweetups
7. Sharing news and information
