How do I get my twitter and Facebook notifications to flash up on my iphone as an alert?
As mentioned above. For things such as retweets on twitter and when people write on my wall, inbox me or comment on my status on Facebook

Install the app face book messenger then you will get alerts when someone has sent you a message or wrote on your wall.
