How do Youtube Beauty Gurus afford expensive things?

They literally make a living off of posting Youtube videos, they said it themselves, and I can't expect them to make a lot money from it. But then on there Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Blog, etc. you see them showing off there Givenchy purse or Prada bag, Versace bracelet, Marc Jacobs ring, $800 shoes, and so on. What the hell? Then they say I'm about to film a video, tell me what items to buy at the drugstore to test out. Really... you're going to waste your money on 20 drugstore products you'll probably use once. I don't get it.

As long as their getting a lot of views (typically make-up tutorials and videos such like have 600,000+ views) they'll be making a lot of money.

You can;t expect them to be making a lot of money> You have no idea how much the CPM rate of their network is, so they could very well be making a few hundred a day.

They may have a product placement deal with a fashion/make-up/jewelry company.

The way you ask the question makes you sound very jealous and angry at them for making money from what they're doing. Instead of being jealous why not try your hand at YouTube yourself?
