can't view a facebook profile but...?

ok so..
theres this one persons facebook profile....
neither one of my friends and i r friends with him
..but in a search she can click on the name and view his profile, and i cant
why is this?

(o n my friend and i r in the same networks..and have the same mutual friends with him....if that makes ne diff?)

They have heightened their security settings , i.e you cant even look @ thier profile, they have to add you as a friend first

I have to say though, if you really want to see his profile, why don't you add him as a friend... and stop creeping!

If he ever messaged your friend or ever tried to add your friend on as a friend then she can still see their profile.

in your facebook settings somewhere, you can specify who can view your profile. I know you can choose an option that people in your network/friends of friends can view or not view your profile. but you said you and your friend have the same network and mutual friends as him so that's weird...anyway, you can go look at privacy settings to try and figure it out.. on your homepage in the top right corner, there's a 'settings button' click on 'privacy settings' and it's all inthere
