What're you supposed to do with Instagram?
I know that you use it to take, edit, share and look at pictures. But I don't know anyone so I have nobody to share stuff with and no pictures to look at. Two girls from my class at school are following me, but I don't really know what to upload. I'm not that good looking and half of the pictures I take look bad. I've only uploaded one picture so far. Is there some way to pic up chicks using Instagram? Should I just delete the app?

Why do you feel that Instagram has to be all about pictures of you? It's not. You can take photos of anything you find interesting and upload them. You can either use your phone's photo album or you can take a picture (by clicking on the Instagram camera) and it will upload that way.

You can search Instagram by entering hastagged things you are interested in. If you enter #dogs, a bunch of photos with dogs in them will pop up and you touch the one you want to look more closely at so you could either like it or comment. Really, it's not rocket science.

Just don't get caught up in the "I have more followers than you" peeing contest. You use Instagram because it makes you happy, not because you need to prove how popular you are.

Take good photos of everything from the foods you eat to funny signs that you see. Take pictures of your pets, a car that you see on the road that you like....anything. I always have my phone handy to take pictures. My favorite things to post are sunsets/rises and beach scenes. Remember to use hashtags so others can find you. But, again, don't be too concerned about followers. You don't need that pressure.
