how can i get all my contacts to link with facebook on android?

I have a htc hero and i recently decided to link all my contacts with facebook. I got the phone to sign in and everything but none of my contacts pictures or information will sync past anyone who's name begins with "c." even when i go in to manually link the contact it says that i don't have any friends past the letter c. does anyone have any idea how i can resolve this issue? it'd be really nice to see people's pictures past the first three letters of the alphabet.

the problem is you have a hero, the worst android phone out there. as for why it wont allow you to go past c im not sure you can try uninstalling facebook, unless your using facebook for htc sense if thats the case then download "facebook for android" on the market if that dont help try clearing your phone back to factory settings (turn the phone off hold down the power down button and tap the power button and find reset or something close to that on the phone) this will put your phnoe back to as if it came out of the box then try adding facebook for android (not facebook for sense) and see if it works if you do reset your phone remeber to back up all your contacts to the SD card and i would back them all up to google to just incase (or write them all down) when i had a hero they didnt allow apps 2 SD but if they have changed that sense then i would put as many apps as u can on the SD card and take it out before u reset your phone to keep ur apps. if you dont no if you have apps2sd go to settings>apps>manage apps find a app you downloaded tap it and see if it says "move to SD" (or move to phone if its already on the SD card) if none of this helps then go to craigslist and buy your self a newer phone because honestly the hero was one of the first phones to have android its super out dated
