You mean... a hashtag? They use it for twitter, they are tags like facebook photos but in twitter you can tag the tweets so people can search tweets with a default hashtag

its called hashtags for exemple:
i'm in Tanzania #Africa This guy keep staring at me #Embarassing Best day of the week #Friday
