Do you think it is a good idea to privatize Social Security?

Well how much worse could it be handled than the way the government has handled it.. there is -0- left in the fund they have spent it on other things.. damn even if the market is down .. Id rather have something than nothing.. and the course we are on.. we will have nothing.. The fund is gone... its been stolen.. would you keep an investment if the managment stole all of the funds .. I see no point in it.. If Social Security is not changed it will eventually have to be done away with.... It blows my mind that folks cant understand this.. The goverments debt is about 9-10 trillion I believe ..they are broke they can not continue to fund Social Security and Medicare indefinetly.... folks the other countries are eventually going to lose confidence in our ability to honor our debt.. How the hell much social security do you think you will get then.. no SS funds and a broke govt.. .I dont think some folks understand basic accounting...or basic govermnent.. You know governments go broke just like individuals and corporations.. Its just a matter of when it is recognized.. Social Security is broke and folks dont want to recognize it.. they think goverment checks will be coming for ever... not true..if you look at reality 2+2 has equaled 4 for a long time..and I think it will continue for a while.. In other words the answer to the question is just pure common sense.... as far as Im concerned.. Would you like the federal government managing the rest of your business like the manage social security...????????? I sure as hell dont.I do believe I can do better than a bunch of congressmen and senators who just want to buy votes with my money..
